Saturday: Danbury CT
Posted: 20 years ago - Apr 25, 2006well on sat morning i was excited and nervous about going to danbury for the infamous Triangles bar/club. it would be my third time in a bar/club in 6 yrs hahah. also the thought of bikers mingling gave me chills for some reason. well it was about 1030 when michelle b called and said she could not go due to some reason, and that the room she had to cancel. i was like OMG i need noway. so i quickly tried to find a back up in case she didnt come through, so i talked to lauren to see if she was coming, but she never heard of this yet and iwas like nooo. so i gave her the link and info and told her that if she can get aroom, that i could bunk with her. well i called michelle back to see what was up she said that she is going and i was relieved, (lesson here is make sure u have plan B). well i headed out to danbury and i made it there in about 1 hr or so. i called michelle to say i was there and she was on her way.
as i sat there in my car i was wondering if i made a good decsion to drive all the way to CT and go to this lil get together. i wanted to come to meet some of the URNA girls that i always talk to and see them in person and to get to know them. and on the other hand i knew it was going to be a bar and club and in dont dance or drink or smoke, i was going to be by myself. well i was there going back and forth, i was going to tell michelle that i wanted to go home. but the urge to dress (havent done it in awhile) came over me so i stayed.
well michelle came and got the room i meet her freind cindi. we chilled in the room and i started to change. even tho it was so freaking early like 330ish. i just needed to dress yah know. well as they finally got ready i got a call it was laruen, and she was here i was so excited that she actually came and got a room, but we were about to leave for the club itwas around 745ish, so she didnt come with us she would show up later. .
we arrivied at the club and there were already a small grp of girls there eating the finger food, and playing pool and drinking at the bar. i walked over to this chair in front of this screen game. and just sat there. now i knew this was a gay bar and i thought i was going to be hit on like crazy, and i was ready to reject them all. in the begining i wasnt expecting anything to happen and it didnt. but the dance room opened and i walked in there to see it, well as the party was continued on i was still not getting hit on (dont get me wrong it was great, at the same time odd) i usually get hit on. i talked to some girls and meet some of them finally. like ka8tie and simone, nancy , karen, Desmd, and jenny and tammy, VJ, lauren and tiff. and the others that i for got their names, sorry.
well jonny from ina came i was surprised to see him, but he left me and lauren he ditched us, so he is now going to get a beat down.
well as the night ended and i watched all the girls dance and drink, i was remined that clubs and bars are not my thing. i wonder how do u girls do this every weekend, id get bored of it. well i talked to laruen in her room until about 330am and headed up to me room. as i was about to sleep i heard noises from the other room, and it wasnt the TV, i heard a cpl going at ti all night for 1 hr, and that girl was screaming, she must of enjoyed it. well i didnt really sleep i just closed and rested my eyes, until about 930 when i went down stairs to get something to eat i was hungry.
to my surpise alot of ppl were awake and chatting, now there was also a post party in some of the rooms and i dontknow how long those lasted but the ppl at breakfast were chatting away about last night and when the next party will be, i joined in and soaked up the convo being a first timer i didnt open my mouth haha. well as ppl stated to disapate and be on their merry way, i headed up stairs to pack and get going. when i got downstairs there was a small grp of ppl that were still around, Tiff, Tammy, Victoria, Sryissa, Aspen, Genifer they were going to go eat and brunch and they asked me if id like to join them i said sure. well we had some great, funny and serious conversations that afternoon, and i made many new found freinds. this was the best part of the weekend in my mind, because i got to know the ppl on a more personal intelligent intimate way, that i would never had have in the bar/club. thanks everyone for taking the time to allow me in your circle of friends, i love you all. andmay we continure our relationship.
